Unlike our conscious, logical minds, which operate predominantly with words (in fact the word ‘logic’ comes from the Greek word ‘logos’ meaning ‘word’), our unconscious, intuitive minds on the other hand, work in images and symbols. We are all familiar with the phrase ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ and this explains perfectly how there is far greater richness and depth in a single image – an outward expression of internal creativity - than can ever be conveyed verbally.
We are still able to interpret this image-based thought form which enables us to access our deeper intuitive awareness. However, modern man has evolved such that we need to use some kind of technique to allow us to bypass our conscious minds which tend to censor or block this ability. Fiona uses a modern Tarot pack as a technique to achieve this.
